Our school takes it's name from the mother of John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church. Susanna Wesley, a mother of thirteen children, spent one hour a week teaching each child. Almost as soon as the children could walk, they learned the alphabet and began to read the Bible.
The Susanna Wesley Day School was established in 1978. The initial purpose of the school was to provide learning opportunities for children 2 1/2 years of age through pre-kindergarten. Since then, the school has grown to include a program for infants through pre-kindergarten and a before/after school program for school aged children.
Susanna Wesley Day School proudly celebrated our 30th anniversary in 2008! As we celebrate three decades of enriching children's lives through developmentally appropriate curriculum and biblical values, our staff anxiously looks forward to the next 30 years of growth and improvement in the early education of many more young minds.
